This rug was hand-knotted in the 1960s with the finest quality wool, a high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch) for precise and fine details and superb craftsmanship. A stunning shade of pistachio green provides the backdrop for elegant flowers in exquisite detail and perfect symmetry. The flowers are hand-knotted in powder blue, teal, ocean blue, ivory, silver, copper, olive, chocolate, mint green, cranberry and countless other colors all made from natural dyes. The delicate ivory leaves and vines define much of the rug's elegant and soft pattern. The wide and majestic moss green border is a perfect complement to the rug, with a garland of flowers on the vine in the same stunning shades of blue and neutral accent colors.
