This is a very fine quality and beautiful Persian Shiraz accent rug that was hand-knotted by expert tribal weavers using fine quality natural wool and only natural dyes.  The rug has a notably thick, soft pile that is cushy underfoot, can handle high traffic and will last generations.  The geometric and tribal motifs that run down the center of the rug add beautiful details in elusive and elegant shades of silvder, beige and metallic taupe, framed by charcoal, black and ivory. The ivory backdrop is as natual as sheepswool itself, with subtle hints of beige and taupe that come from the animal wool.  The border is a particularly decorative complementary element of the rug with its repeating geometric motifs in all of the rug's neutral colors against a mushroom taupe frame.
