This unique handmade Turkish rug is overdyed in natural purple dyes, a process which creates vivid and variegated colors. It is also purposefully distressed and sheered through the overdying process, giving it an authentic antique look and the patina that comes only from natural dyes and handmade rugs.  The shades of purple range from lilac to lavender to a slightly pink-hued purple.  The colors seem to change with the light and the height of the pile.  The geometric design is faint and faded, but still visible for a vintage look and feel.  This is a new rug that has been purposefully washed to look like an antique, which creates a very low pile.  Handmade from quality wool, it has dense and sturdy weave that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  Size: 6'x8'9"
