Elegant handmade in Pakistan fine quality vintage rug.  The stunning allover floral design is a modern take on a traditional Persian Mashad floral rug pattern. The high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch) makes for extremely fine details and the fine quality wool makes for a pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The rich cranberry backdrop and midnight blue border are densely covered with intricate, elegant floral and vine motifs in silver, steel blue, charcoal, parchment, sand, mauve, rose pink, taupe, olive green, white, walnut and countless other colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. The pile is distressed in some areas and the binding has been repaired in one area (see photos).  These minor imperfections are not easily apparent and add character and authenticity to this beautiful hand-knotted piece - and they also make for a great price!  The rug has no holes or tears or patches.  Size:  9'1"x11'10"
