This is a handmade fine quality vintage Persian Kashan - a timeless classic.  Hand-knotted in the 1980s, this rug is in mint condition with a full soft pile. It can withstand high traffic and will last generations. Made with fine quality wool and excellent craftsmanship, this rug has exquisite details and brilliant colors.  A traditional floral and medallion design is intricately woven on a lush crimson red background with concentric medallions and borders in ivory and bright shades of cornflower blue and royal blue. The elegant flowers and vines burst forth in an array of striking spring shades, with the blues still dominant along with carnation pink, peach, orange, lime green, burgundy, cranberry and countless other vivid colors that pop, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The royal blue border has a complementary larger floral and vine design in the same brilliant colors, framed by two thin ribbons of charming small flowers.
