This knockout vintage handmade Persian Karajeh is in mint condition, with a fantastic and versatile allover design. The classic geometric pattern has rows of tribal medallions in exquisite detail and color. Hand-knotted in the 1960s, this rug was made with fine craftsmanship and a sturdy, full and soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. Vivid and vibrant colors are all made from only natural dyes. The rich cherry red background is a wonderful contrast for the finely detailed snowflake-like motifs in royal blue, powder blue and cornflower blue, carnation pink, ballet slipper pink, fruit punch, copper, midnight blue and other colors, all punctuated by bright white accents. The small star and flower tribal motifs are so abundant that you can get lost in the details. The midnight blue border is hand-knotted in all the same brilliant colors with a complementary repeating pattern that adds more interest and beauty to this stunning rug. Size: 7'10"x10'9"
