This is a very unique, fine quality accent rug that was hand-knotted in Pakistan by expert Baluchi tribal weavers using fine quality wool, a high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch) for precise details. and only natural dyes. The sand colored background has an aged, vintage feel and the sapphire blue design is elegant and tribal. This geometric rug has highly intricate motifs throughout and would also make for a beautiful tapestry/wall-hanging. The highly detailed decorative motifs are hand-knotted in purple, lavender, turquoise, midnight blue, heather gray, and lavender, all colors that become more apparent as you approach the rug. The three central medallions are surrounded by geometric flowers on the vine in symmetrical patterns. An interior frame of sapphire and light blue repeating motifs leads to the incredible border, a series of repeating urns and archaeological vessels in all of the rug's elegant colors. This rug is made of fine, soft lambswool, which gives it a thin, soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. Size: 4'2"x6'3"
