Its traditional antique look is based on Victorian rug designs made for the aristocracy in India. The backdrop is a neutral sand color, a perfect setting for the intricate overall floral & vine pattern of sprays and bouquets in a grid of medallions, hand-knotted in stunning detail in neutral shades of coral, pale peach, dusty rose, steel blue, indigo blue, cornflower blue, midnight blue, camel, taupe and olive. The midnight blue border, also intricately detailed with complementary floral and leaf patterns, is framed by ribbons of coral, taupe and indigo. All of these exquisite colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. Made from extremely high quality wool, this rug has a soft and full pile that is quite dense and heavy.
