This gorgeous palace size Persian Heriz in a Serapi design is probably the finest rug in our collection (and certainly the heaviest!).  This is an extremely fine quality contemporary handmade rug with stunning colors, natural dyes, superb craftsmanship and the thickest, softest pile. It's a modern rug whose design is based on antique Persian Serapi patterns that date back centuries, known for their geometric, nomadic designs and prominent, bold floral medallions.  This rug has a notably plush pile that is heavenly underfoot, great for high traffic areas and will last generations.  The ivory white backdrop is the perfect setting for the intricate geometric and floral details that are hand-knotted in a spectacular array of rich, vibrant colors.  The flower is the heart of the rug, hand-knotted in pomegranate and a unique shade of sapphire blue with delicate floral and leaf motifs and accents in lemonade pink, dusty rose, spearmint green, mushroom, teal, cherry red, plum, royal blue, burgundy, mauve, emerald green, ivory and countless other colors.  The flower's layers fill the rug almost to its edges with astounding layers of small leaves and vines and petals.
