This is a fine quality accent rug that was hand-knotted in Pakistan by expert Baluchi tribal weavers using fine quality wool and a high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch) for precise details. The midnight blue background has an aged and muted, vintage feel and the intricate geometric repeating motifs are also woven with soft, muted colors: grass green, gold, red, sand, chocolate, mocha, lime green and tomato red. The allover design is elegant and tribal and full of detailed motifs that become more apparent as you get closer. A decorative geometric garland of flowers and leaves on the vine frames the rug in the same soft colors, preceded by a thin row of mocha waves. The concentric borders of brown and beige against blue are the perfect complement, with highly detailed repeating motifs on either end before the fringe. The fringe is a fantastic and unique final detail of this rug, a row of repeating shades of mint green, sand, chocolate, camel and mocha. This rug is made of fine, soft lambswool, which gives it a thin, soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. Size: 3'8"x6'
