This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool.   The geometric design is based on tribal Kazakh patterns known as "ram's horn" that date back centuries.  Here a series of three medallions run down the center of the rug, hand-knotted in camel and ivory with tribal motifs in navy blue, sky blue and crimson. with outlines of charcoal, blue, camel and mocha. The crimson backdrop has small playful tribal  flower motifs in the open field that echo the medallions in style and colors. The border is a navy blue frame with a geometric repeating flower motif in all of the rug's colors, framed by a thin row of camel with crimson, white and blue tiny flowers. The bindings are knotted in a thick navy blue and crimson alternating weave that adds a wonderful decorative detail to the rug.  All colors are made from only natural dyes.  This versatile size and color palette make the rug perfect for entries and bedsides, kitchens, bathrooms, mud rooms and kids' rooms, hallways, etc.
