This brand new fine quality geometric runner was handmade in India. It has a full soft and thick pile that is great for high traffic and will last generations. This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool.   The design is based on tribal Kazakh patterns that date back centuries.  Here, a series of five alternating colorful medallions run down the center of the runner, hand-knotted in indigo blue, golden yellow and sage green with  accents of lemon yellow, cherry red and white, all made from only natural dyes.  The backdrop is bright cherry red with small playful tribal motifs in the open field that echo the medallions in style and colors, adding powder blue and bright sky blue to the mix. The border is an ivory frame that lightens and brightens the rug, picking up on all of the white accents throughout.  A geometric repeat fills the border with complementary color and pattern.  The binding is a playful and decorative element of the rug, with deep indigo blue and cherry red alternating rectangles against the final red row of the rug with small white and blue repeating motifs.  This versatile size and cheerful color palette makes the rug perfect for entries and kitchens, mud rooms and kids' rooms, hallways, bedsides, etc.  Size: 2'8"x9'
