This brand new fine quality tribal modern runner was handmade in India. It has a full soft and thick pile that is great for high traffic and will last generations. This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool.   The geometric design is based on Kazakh patterns that date back centuries.  Here a series of four star-shaped medallions run down the center of the runner, hand-knotted in white with navy blue, hunter green, pomegranate red, silver, copper and taupe accents.  The backdrop is pomegranate red with small playful tribal motifs in the open field that echo the medallions' colors. The border is a white frame with a geometric ribbon of flowers on the vine in green, red and taupe, framed by a thin row of copper with repeating small tribal motifs in the remaining colors of the rug.  The binding is a playful and decorative element of the rug, with royal blue and cherry red alternating rectangles against the final pomegranate row of the border. All colors are made from only natural dyes.  The versatile size and sturdy pile make the rug perfect for entries and kitchens, bathrooms, mud rooms and kids' rooms, hallways, bedsides, etc.
