This brand new bright and cheerful fine quality rug was handmade in India. It has a full soft and thick pile that is great for high traffic and will last generations. This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool.   The design is based on tribal Kazakh patterns that date back centuries.  Here, a series of three octagonal medallions run down the center of the rug, hand-knotted in golden orange and white, with charming flower and star motifs in pale mint green, hunter green, periwinkle blue, silver and bronze, all made from only natural dyes.  The backdrop is a cherry red with small playful tribal motifs in the open field that echo the medallions in style and colors. The border is a white frame with a geometric  repeat in all of the rug's colors.  The binding is a playful and decorative element of the rug, with navy blue and red alternating rectangles against the cherry red edge of the border.  This versatile size and cheerful color palette makes the rug perfect for entries and kitchens, mud rooms and kids' rooms, hallways, bedsides, etc.  Size: 5'5"x8'
